Villa de Parnell, a contemporary interior design showroom set in landscaped grounds in the small town of Bakgok-ri in Yangji, South Korea, opened in 2018 displaying a carefully curated selection of furniture for home and garden. The beautifully lit room sets have a European flavour, which continues with modernist, minimalist landscaped gardens furnished with Tribù.
The light-filled, 6,000m2 showroom features room sets furnished in a fresh, relaxed, style with sofas, beds and home accessories. There is also a stylish in-house café that has helped make this a destination for couples and families who want to see the best new furniture designs in a spacious, engaging environment.
Furniture collections from Tribù blur the line between fine modern interior and outdoor design. Tosca armchairs set around a Tosca dining table look very much at home next to an outsize modern hearth and floor-to-ceiling windows – take them outside and you have the perfect setting for drinks and dinner on the terrace.
The landscape gardens, featuring patchwork lawns and shallow reflecting pools over grey pebbles and geometric stepping stones, are an ideal setting for Tribù’s simple, subtle Branch armchairs and dining table.
The Villa complex is an extension of the successful Parnell furniture company, which has showrooms in Seoul and Busan. The Parnell philosophy centres on creating ‘a home worth calling home’. At Villa de Parnell, that philosophy has created a destination to inspire and delight customers and a space that is the perfect setting for Tribù’s distinctive brand of contemporary luxury.
